My Art Journey

I was born in rural Mühlacker near Stuttgart and also spent my childhood far away from urban civilization. No wonder that I was later drawn to the big, wide world.

At the age of 18, I started my first career as an actress in Berlin under the name “Maike Billitis”. It went quite well. I played in tv-series such as “Marienhof”, “Verliebt in Berlin” and in international productions such as “The Hot Potato”.

Actually, I could have continued there, but something inside me called for a change.

Even as a child, I would spend hours painting and felt great peace in it. So painting has always been a part of my life, but not professionally until then.

In 2012, I sold my artwork for the first time, but still considered it a nice hobby. But I couldn't let it go. I wanted to paint more...

There were always offers to film, and they continue to this day, but I have changed one thing: painting has now become my calling! And I can't imagine anything better.
