When I exhibited this painting for the first time, a beekeeper showed interest in it. It's amazing how differently we humans feel, even though I can't deny that honey is involved in this painting. I wanted to depict femininity and fertility above all. Being in the flow, accepting, welcoming, creating new things, but also being able to love and let go.
