No wonder that I was later drawn to the big, wide world.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the age of 18, I started my first career as an actress in Berlin under the name \u201cMaike Billitis\u201d. It went quite well. I played in tv-series such as \u201cMarienhof\u201d, \u201cVerliebt in Berlin\u201d and in international productions such as \u201cThe Hot Potato\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Actually, I could have continued there, but something inside me called for a change.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Even as a child, I would spend hours painting and felt great peace in it. So painting has always been a part of my life, but not professionally until then.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2012, I sold my artwork for the first time, but still considered it a nice hobby. But I couldn't let it go. I wanted to paint more...<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There were always offers to film, and they continue to this day, but I have changed one thing: painting has now become my calling!
